Prayer composed in 2014 by Fr. Claude Barthe
Good Saint Philip Neri, who didst found the Confraternity of the Most Holy Trinity for the welcome and help of pilgrims to Rome, we place ourselves under thy kind protection.
Assist our pilgrimage in the City that is our Mother and our Mistress. Unite thy prayer to the prayers we send up to the Prince of the Apostles, to whose Tomb we are going. Place us under the mantle of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Salvation of the Roman people. Obtain for us mercy and forgiveness of our sins from Jesus Christ Our Lord, the Divine Spouse of the Church which He established upon Peter. Present to Him, through the hands of the Virgin Mary, our efforts, our labours, our sorrows, and our sacrifices for the celebration of the divine worship.
We beg thee to enlighten our faith, which is exposed to the darkness of the modern world, with thy smile and thy sense of humour.
Lastly we pray thee, good Saint Philip, to support our efforts to make the holy Roman liturgy just as you practised it shine in our parishes, in our nations, and in the whole world for the greater glory of God and for the conversion, consolation, and salvation of innumerable souls.

On 19 January 2017, the Cœtus Internationalis Summorum Pontificum (CISP) held a press conference in Paris to present the main details of the festivities to be organized in September to mark the tenth anniversary of the Motu Proprio of Pope Benedict XVI dated 7 July 2007, the apostolic letter Summorum Pontificum, which entered into force on 14 September 2007.
The main characteristic of this anniversary is its official character: Archbishop Guido Pozzo, secretary of the Ecclesia Dei Commission, has written to all the superiors of Ecclesia Dei institutes and communities, male and female, inviting them to participate.
At the press conference, it was confirmed that, on Thursday, 14 September 2017, there will be a colloquium on the tenth anniversary of the motu proprio at the Pontifical University of Angelicum, during which Archbishop Pozzo, among others (their names will be communicated over the coming months), will take stock of these ten years of renewal of the traditional liturgy in the Church. This colloquium will be led by the Dominican Father Vincenzo Nuara of the Ecclesia Dei Commission and organized by the Amicizia Sacerdotale Summorum Pontificum and the association Giovani e Tradizione. It will be a perfect kick off for the sixth international pilgrimage of Populus Summorum Pontificum, that will be reinforced this year by the presence of the Ecclesia Dei institutes and communities.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
From the 14 till the 17 September 2017
all are invited to Rome to celebrate
10 years of Motu proprio “Summorum Pontificum”.
“May the traditional Mass flourish in the Church!”
This aspiration, formulated by Msgr Sample, Archbishop of Portland, at the end of the last pilgrimage Populus Summorum Pontificum that took place between 27 and 30 October 2016, may reach its best materialisation next year, precisely on 14 September 2017, when the people of Summorum Pontificum shall meet ad Petri Sedem to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the coming in force of the Motu proprio of Pope Benedict XVI.
